Communicative English - Pre-Intermediate Level
This course aims to enhance students' communication abilities in English at the pre-intermediate level. Students will engage in interactive activities and exercises to improve speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
Course Objectives:
Improve speaking and listening skills through conversations, discussions, and listening exercises.
Enhance reading comprehension skills through passages, articles, and short stories.
Develop writing skills through exercises, essays, and journal entries.
Expand vocabulary and grammar knowledge to boost overall language proficiency.
Build confidence in using English in practical situations.
Grammar:
Question formation and usage of question words
Present simple and present continuous tenses
Construction of affirmative, negative, and interrogative sentences
Past simple tense, including regular and irregular verbs
Future forms (will, going to) with exercises on expressing future plans and intentions
Utilization of modal verbs
Quantity expressions (some, any, much, many)
Infinitives
Passive voice
Phrasal Verbs
Writing tasks to create sentences employing various verb forms
Listening:
Comprehension exercises on everyday conversations and dialogues
Dictation activities
Group discussions supported by audio clips
